Our Children Need You!

It is Your Duty of Care!

Without adequate protection, a child’s delicate skin can burn
within minutes, causing irreparable damage. This can significantly increase their risk of developing skin cancer in later life.

Implementing a Sun Safe policy will ensure that your nursery
is adequately equipped to protect the children in your care from
over-exposure to UV, providing you with the necessary resources
to introduce the sun safe message to your children in a fun and
engaging way.

This illustrates to parents and other interested parties, that you
are prepared to go that extra mile to ensure the health and
wellbeing of children in your care.

By becoming a Sun Safe Nursery, you can help to reverse
the soaring rates of skin cancer in this country.

Primary Schools can gain their Sun Safe Status via our sister scheme at: www.sunsafeschools.co.uk
